Digital Wallet - FAQ

What is a digital wallet?

A digital wallet is a virtual representation of your debit or credit card(s), stored in an app on your mobile device. Digital wallets use tokenization, which replaces your physical payment card account number (PAN) with a unique string of digital numbers, or token. Because tokenization replaces PAN numbers, sensitive account information is never shared.
